The pitch was simple: give the doctors, nurses, paramedics, students and patients of this corner of Murdoch a place that feels genuinely good — not another canteen-style cafe with flat coffee and soggy sandwiches.
Eight years on, we're still here, still family-run, and still cooking everything fresh daily.
We pull shots on a La Marzocco, dial in daily, and take the time to do it properly. Even on the 7:45am rush when there's a line to the door. Especially then.
Hospital schedules don't wait. Our menu is built to hold up whether you're eating at the bar, grabbing a bag for the ward, or catering a department meeting upstairs.
Warm lights, wooden tables, and a bar that opens when the shift ends. Somewhere to decompress between rounds, between lectures, between lives.
Our beef comes from WA producers. Our bread from a bakery 12 minutes away. Our coffee is roasted in Perth. Not everything can be local — mangoes in July aren't — but where it can, it is, and we're transparent when it's not.
We compost. We've cut single-use plastic by 80% since 2020. Our takeaway cups are commercially compostable, and if you bring a keep-cup we take 50 cents off.
